MINIMUM CUSTODY INMATES WALK-OFF WORK DETAIL ASSIGNMENT
Both serving time for probation violations
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – At approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday, Davidson County Sheriff’s Office minimum-custody inmates Steven Hooberry, 32 of Joelton, and Jason Morris, 34 of Antioch, walked-off their work detail assignment at the DCSO’s Correctional Services Center, 5117 Harding Place. They were housed at the Correctional Development Center-Male, also on Harding Place.
With outside clearance, inmates work daily on various assignments including bulk-item disposal, grass cutting, and janitorial services.
The investigation continues and the public should call 911 if they see either individual.

DCSO Resumes Normal Operations for Weekenders:

Effective November 1, 2021 the DCSO will resume normal operations for accepting weekenders and all persons reporting to serve their sentence.

As COVID-19 numbers rise in the community, they are also on the rise in the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office jails. Currently, 66 inmates are testing positive and the number of inmates on restriction is 481. When compared to the last week’s update, restriction numbers were 131 inmates with 27 testing positive. Vaccines are offered to the inmate population on an ongoing basis.
Additionally, until further notice, individuals required to serve “weekend time” should not report. Instead call 615.862.8367 to reschedule.
Courts are continuing operation; therefore, citations booking is not impacted.
