Correctional Officer

  1. Apply online. Correctional Officer Trainee
  2. Once you apply, recruiting will reach out to schedule you for the Civil Service Test.
  3. A background check will be performed upon receiving a passing score on the Civil Service Test.
  4. Upon successful completion of the background check, HR will reach out to schedule you for the required physical and psychological exams.
  5. After successfully completing the above requirements, you will receive a conditional offer of employment to attend New Hire Orientation, Job Shadowing, and the Correctional Officer Academy.
  6. Prior to starting you will be fitted for and receive uniforms.

 

All employees are required to acknowledge receipt of our personnel policies on the first day of New Hire Orientation. Digital copies can be found here, Personnel Policy Manual.
