DCSO Volunteers at Titans Opener

Personnel from Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, Nashville Fire, and Nashville Sheriff came together for the pregame 9/11 tribute ceremony at the Tennessee Titans home opener! The ceremony included a F-16 flyover, National Anthem by Michael W. Smith, and several us were able to meet a hometown hero, the Titans 12th Man, Mr. James Shaw Jr.!

A big THANK YOU to our volunteers! Their day started at 7:30 am at the MNPD’s North Precinct, shuttled to the Titans practice facility for breakfast and to practice unfurling the 150 feet by 300 feet (approximately 1,200 pounds) American flag. From there everyone was shuttled to the Titans vs. Texans game to watch warm-ups from the field, meet the Titans 12th Man, James Shaw Jr., and some even played a little catch with J.J. Watt!

On top of all of this, TITANS WIN!
